Founded by Frank Reed Horton at Lafayette College, Alpha Phi Omega has grown to be the largest collegiate fraternity in the country. On December 16, 1925, Horton and thirteen other charter members created an organization committed to the three cardinal principles: Friendship, Leadership, and Service. From that day on, the brotherhood today has expanded into an association of over 350 chapters, 17,000 active members, and over 350,000 alumni.
ALPHA PHI OMEGA
MU LAMBDA CHAPTER
The Mu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega was chartered on February 15, 1958. Since its installment, the brotherhood continues to follow the founding ideals of the Scout Oath and Law of the Boy Scouts of America. We currently have a membership of over thirty members; all of whom have come together because of one shared interest: community service. Together, we are very diverse, and are involved in dozens of other organizations and positions across campus. Our chapter is co-educational and strives to provide members with leadership development, volunteer experience, and social opportunities.
